People, who enjoy sewing, invariably love sewing buttons. And, subsequently, what may have hindered those from giving quilting a try in the past, has been eradicated by modern convenience. Think about your priority, do you want to stitch for yourself only or for your whole extended family? do you want the sewing machine only for mending or to do decorative stitches also? do you need to stitch heavy items like bedspread or slipcovers?
The first few pieces might not fit your tastes or might have something wrong (too short, too long, etc. Right after you finish your fist project make sure to start on the next one. Things happen and even good machines from a reliable company can break or not perform to standards.
Something inside of me always yearned to sew, and you can learn too. The joy I derived from sharing my handmade treasures was more than I could hope for.
